From Cleveland International Film Festival: Update!

CLEVELAND: We were thrilled to be having the world premiere at a top 10 best festival in the US: the Cleveland Int’l Film Festival.

It was delightful to be there with so many fabulous performers, including Nina West, Virginia West, DrCool Ethan, Luster Dela Virgion, JAC Stringer, Julia Applegate & Liv Gjestvang, and so many of the West Family and Royal Renegades. The film had ‘stand by only’ screenings (aka sold out), a terrific Q&A Saturday night, and an engaging film forum on Sunday with LGBT Center of Cleveland, Equality Toledo, and AMPstudy.org.

And what’s more: the Cleveland Plain Dealer gave the film an A+ critic’s review, (and we were told such a review was remarkable by locals) — very fulfilling and exciting to see how it caught fire.
TEDx Talks also ran an article on their blog about KQIB.
CIFF chose KQIB as a film for a short meet-the-director series online.
And in a moment of sheer fun, we opened the newspaper weekender section to see that local celebrities appearing at the festival included KQIB’s director, producer, and cast listed… and then mentioning Twisted Sister & Crazy Joe and the Fish. Yes, KQIB was listed first — what a KICK. 🙂
